1. What this platform is
Bread of Life is a Scripture-study and fellowship platform operated by First Fruits Ministries for its congregation and affiliated ministries (Corner Fringe Ministries, CFM-Dixon, The Bridge Fellowship, Epic Life Church Terrell, and etc.). Bread of Life exists to support Scripture engagement, intimate study of the Word of God, discipleship, instruction, and fellowship under pastoral accountability — not as an open-forum, general-purpose social platform, and not as a substitute for personal prayer, your local congregation, or interaction with your pastor.
Bread of Life is intended to be free to use. It is supported by donations only and will not charge a fee for access to any feature.
2. Conduct expected of every Member
By agreeing to these Terms, you agree to:
- Treat every person you encounter here — staff, pastors, fellow members, and neighbors — with the respect due a fellow image-bearer of God, in every post, note, prayer request, comment, and message.
- Disagree, including on matters of Scripture and doctrine, with long-suffering and patience and without contempt, mockery, or personal attack.
- Keep prayer requests, personal notes, and community posts free of harassment, threats, hate speech, sexually explicit material, and content promoting violence or self-harm.
- Refrain from using the platform to advertise, solicit business, fundraise for outside causes, or recruit for other organizations.
- Refrain from posting or reproducing another ministry's teaching materials.
- Abide by all relevant copyright laws and refrain from posting copyrighted works without express permission from the license holder.
- Accept moderation by pastors and administrators: Member-submitted links, images, embedded videos, and audio are subject to pastoral review before becoming visible to others. Inclusion in a post does not guarantee display, and previously approved content may be removed later at pastoral discretion.
- Not impersonate another person, ministry, or church.
- Not attempt to access another member's private content, or to circumvent any privacy or visibility setting (including the connection-shield and any content-visibility controls).
3. Nothing posted here is private by default
Be mindful of how you designate your post for each comment, prayer request, note, reflection, or discussion. Content you post to shared spaces — the Prayer Wall, Scripture notes, Plan reflections, Ask the Pastors, group and cohort discussion, Passage Lists, and etc. — is visible to the other members and audiences that space is built for, and is not confidential. Only content you specifically mark or save as private is private. Do not post anything publically you would not be comfortable with a fellow believer reading.
4. Pastoral oversight and moderation
First Fruits Ministries and its affiliated pastors retain the right to review, moderate, hide, or remove any content that violates these Terms or the Statement of Faith, and to restrict, suspend, or remove any account, at pastoral discretion. This may happen without advance notice when necessary to protect the community. Where the platform's design allows it, a decision may be reviewed or reversed by a Pastor or Founder.
Moderation exists to protect the space described in Section 1 — it is a pastoral responsibility, not a punitive one, and is exercised with that in mind.
5. Not a substitute for pastoral care
Nothing on this platform — including any Scripture study tool or written content — constitutes pastoral counsel, spiritual direction, or professional advice. For matters of conviction, conscience, crisis, or spiritual guidance, you are encouraged to reach out to a pastor or trusted believer directly, not to rely on the platform itself.
6. Privacy Policy
What we collect
Account information (name, email, church affiliation, and optional phone/address if you provide them); your activity within the app (reading plans, notes, highlights, prayer requests, connections, and similar); and basic technical data (sign-in history, device and platform information) used for account security and support.
How we use it
To operate the platform, to review Membership applications, to support pastoral oversight and moderation, to send you account-related email (approvals, notifications), and to maintain and improve the platform.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data, and Bread of Life carries no advertising of any kind — your information is never used to advertise to you or anyone else.
Who can see it
Visibility follows the same rules as Section 3 above. Pastors, Admins, and Founders may access account and content data as needed for pastoral oversight, moderation, and platform administration.
Retention and deletion
You may request that your account and associated data be deleted. Some records may be retained where necessary for legitimate administrative purposes.
Minors
Bread of Life does not currently require a minimum age to register. A parent or guardian with questions or concerns about a minor's account is encouraged to contact a Pastor directly.
Security
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are in place. If you have specific questions, please contact us using the Report a Bug/Feature Request feature in your Account menu.
7. Governing law and disputes
Any dispute or concern arising from use of this platform is first brought to pastoral resolution within First Fruits Ministries and its affiliates. Where a matter cannot be resolved through that process, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, where First Fruits Ministries, Inc., is incorporated, and secondarily by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
8. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as the platform grows. Material changes will be communicated to members on this page, which can always be accessed from your Account dropdown menu, and continued use of the platform after a change constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.
